Before setting up HealthSherpa, you must have completed your CMS Marketplace training and received your FFM certificate. This confirms you are authorized to enroll clients through the ACA Marketplace.

Confirm you have completed the CMS Marketplace Training (Module 1)

Locate your FFM Agent ID — you received this after passing the MLMS certification

Ensure your NPN (National Producer Number) is active and in good standing

4

Have your state insurance license number available

5

Confirm your license is active in the states you plan to enroll clients

Pro Tip: Your FFM Agent ID and NPN are two different numbers. HealthSherpa requires your NPN — not your FFM ID — for account setup.
